This project was completed under the Certificate of Practice issued to Michael Spaziani Architect Inc., prior to their merging with SRM Architects Inc.
Completed in the fall of 2019. MTCO Seniors commissioned MSAi to design and prepare contract documents for this 170 unit Retirement Home in Barrie.
Working within the existing context and fabric of the neighbourhood, the project was limited to a maximum of four Storeys, with a large setback to the neighbouring low rise residential homes to the rear.
The final product resulted in an innovative four storey, "c-shape" building, that includes a dedicated, 23 unit Assisted Living neighbourhood.
