This project involved a 3-storey, 21-unit addition to this existing Affordable Housing building in Ayr, Ontario, as well as interior renovations of the existing 2-storey building
The addition added a number of 1 and 2-bedroom units, as well as a common amenity space in the basement for residents.
All units and common areas of the addition have been designed to meet or exceed the universal design strategy set out by the National Housing Co-Investment Fund. All areas have been designed to provide accessible routes, movement, and maneuvering for occupants and visitors to access and operate appliances and equipment.
